Liora

liora-portrait.webp liora.webp liora-scene.webp

Met in session 3. Present in sessions 6, 7 and 10.

In session 13 Percival saved her by draining power out of Valis and into her.

She swam out to catch a whale in session 6 and nearly drowned when Valis went after her. In session 10 she spoiled her secret into the stone before Gia's turn.

Percival played disinterested at the whale to take the fun out of it and make Valis stop. At the stone he helped Liora keep her secret — seemingly already knowing it.

Details pending — player, species, class and backstory are unrecorded.

In Play

  • Session 3: the party meets her. How she joins is unrecorded.
  • Session 6: present with the full party at the start; one of the three at the evening drink. Went into the water to swim and set out to catch a whale. Failed. Valis then tried to drown her, and she almost drowned (see Session 6 — The Whale).
  • Session 7: one of the three at the table. In the forest, with the Sheriff, and in the tavern when the party was told about the deities and the sickness.
  • Session 10: at the table. In the loop she spoiled a secret into the stone before Gia's turn, and Percival helped keep it — apparently already knowing what it was. What she said is unrecorded.

Open

  • What she spoiled, and how Percival knew it already.

The rest of the character file set gets created when there are details to put in it.

Update (as of session 13)

In session 12 Valis, angry at being thrown toward the chains, cast the Feeding Mark through Percival onto Liora as revenge; Percival did not want it and had no choice. To the party it looked like Percival's spell. After the cave taught the party how a Providence card is made, Percival read it onto Liora: she is the Vessel, the price paid is her becoming an actual card, and her glowing body is the Echo — the Knight. In session 13 he reversed the Feeding Mark and drained Valis into her, which saved her. He then gave his own Echo — knowledge of his history — to restore the Knight. Whether the Knight was restored, and whether she is still becoming a card, is unrecorded. See Session 12 — The Making of a Providence Card and Session 13 — The Feeding, Reversed.
