Zelvorath, The Burrowing Titan

Zelvorath is a titan of the Whispering Woods: a serpent so large that its body runs for miles beneath the forest. It lives mostly underground, but now and then it surfaces, arching out of one burrow above the trees and diving back into another.

Physical Description

  • Size: Far larger than the oldest trees of the Woods; only part of it is ever above ground at once.
  • Scales: Massive overlapping plates that shimmer with residual magic, iridescent violet, teal and gold, with moss, soil and roots clinging to them.
  • Head and eyes: A broad, calm head with softly glowing violet eyes.

Burrows

Where Zelvorath moves, the forest shows it. Huge burrow mouths open among the roots, trees lean inward around their rims, and long raised ridges of upheaved earth run between them, marking its paths beneath the ground.
