Ether's Reignition

Session 31. Ether's Flame went back where it came from, into the Burning Tree, about eight hundred years after the Great Freeze put it out.

On frozen Ether

Taara, Myra, Logi and Cinder stood on Ether, frozen, with the flame in the Amulet of the Planes around Taara's neck. They had crossed there in session 30, and since that crossing Ether stands in the Shadowfell.

The flame went out of the Amulet and back into the Tree.

On Ether, everything that had been taken from Taara's memory came back to her, and it stayed that way after she came home.

Like a meteor

Then the Amulet flew home. Taara, Myra and Logi held onto it and came down out of Ether like a meteor, hanging from the necklace as it went.

They landed in front of the werewolf den, the Sorceress's den, where Mark, Khione and Yager had been left. Two werewolf clans stood there, opposed to each other, and the party came down in the middle of them. The party is back together there.

• Whether any Zephyrian woke, and what Ether looked like when they left.
• What Strahd said through the flame.
• Why the Amulet could fly home without the flame in it, and whether the crossing home took anything from Myra and Logi.
